The results presented should illustrate the type of studies that can be carried out with IMAGE. They are based on recent IMAGE assessments, as far as possible taken from peer-reviewed literature or published PBL reports. For more detail, we refer to underlying scientific papers. Each description of a model component provides a model flow diagram, a figure with baseline results, and a figure with results for one (or several) policy interventions. The flows of information is mapped from inputs, via process steps to outputs, showing the relation to other parts of the model. The model description concentrates on key process steps, and gives reference to underlying scientific papers for more detail. Relevant policy applications to which the module can contribute are identified, including an example for baseline development and policy intervention, rounded off with generated reflection on uncertainties and limitations. | |||
